Responsibilities

• Own client accounts. You are the person they talk to, and the person who understands their position well enough to know which research matters to them.
• Place the work. Media distribution and the relationships behind it, built on knowing which journalists genuinely care about a given number.
• Extend it into social. Increasingly this is where research finds its second and third life, and we want someone with a view on how to do it well.
• Traffic manage the team's output. Researchers, analysts and writers all moving at once. You sequence the work and keep it moving.
• Work with the research team on what the data is actually saying. You do not need to run the analysis, but you should be able to look at a dataset and see what is publishable in it.
• Handle timing. Some work is planned months out. Some is a response to something that happened this morning. Both need to be done properly.
