CPB Contractors, as part of the Spark North East Link consortium, seeks a skilled MEI Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee the MVAC, TVS, hydraulics and fire protection systems on Melbourne's North East Link Central Package. The role involves design review, constructability assessments, and ensuring safety and quality across all project phases.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 5+ years of delivery experience in infrastructure/construction,

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in infrastructure or construction.
• Proven delivery experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (> $50M).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all phases of the project from planning to handover of MVAC, TVS, hydraulics and fire systems.
• Review design documents and perform constructability and commissioning reviews.
• Manage subcontractor budgets and coordinate between teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
