Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and professional registration where applicable.
• Experience delivering brownfield studies, design, and site-based engineering projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and piping engineering activities from concept through detailed design and site implementation.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, datasheets, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
• Deliver practical brownfield solutions considering safety, constructability, operability, maintainability, cost, and schedule.
• Engage with clients, operators, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Conduct site visits to investigate issues, verify conditions, and support construction and commissioning activities.
• Manage technical quality, engineering risk, project budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify operational challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Represent the business professionally within the local market.
