Job summary

Water Corporation in Western Australia seeks a Senior Technical Advisor – Operations Interface with a mechanical background to embed in the Alkimos SeaWater Alliance during design and construct. The role focuses on translating O&M requirements into a fit-for-purpose desalination plant, guiding asset management, maintenance planning and readiness for operation.

• Practical experience in operating or maintaining water treatment assets.
• Sound knowledge of asset management principles and practices.
• Experience in seawater desalination operations and asset management.

Responsibilities

• Represent asset management and O&M stakeholders to influence project decisions for fit-for-purpose outcomes.
• Provide O&M technical liaison between the Alliance and Water Corporation.
• Develop and maintain mechanical technical documentation and procedures.
• Guide the Alliance to understand and implement Water Corporation’s O&M requirements.
• Identify risks and communicate impacts with stakeholders, with mitigation strategies.
