CDFAM in Crestmead (Australia) seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and development in defence and rocket-building projects. You will own engineering phases, mentor teams, and collaborate across propulsion, electrical, software, and manufacturing functions.

Citizenship with NV1 clearance eligibility is required. Required are a Mechanical/Aerospace degree, 5+ years in engineering, and proficiency with Autodesk Fusion or equivalent CAD with PLM/PDM for revision control.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or aerospace engineering.
• “5+ years of engineering experience.”
• “Proficient with parametric CAD (Autodesk Fusion) and PDM/PLM for revision control.”
• “Experience with design for manufacture and advanced manufacturing.”
• “Experience with AS9100 QMS — ECR/ECO and non-conformance management.”
• “Australian citizenship and eligibility for defence clearance NV1.”

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering phases to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Design, process FMEA and GD&T
• Collaborate with propulsion, electrical, software, manufacturing, range operations and quality teams.
• Eliminate failure modes and support product development and re-engineering.
• Contribute to QMS audits and compliance.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor the engineering design team and own projects.
