Job summary

AKD Softwoods is a leading forestry products company with operations across Queensland, NSW and Victoria, including Oberon. We are seeking a Mechanical/Process Engineer to develop scopes for design and improve site performance, oversee maintenance programs, and drive asset integrity across conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in timber processing and material handling.

You will review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, utilizing CAD tools to upgrade

Qualifications

• Develop scope and parameters for design and implementation of processes to improve overall site performance.
• Monitoring execution and improvement of the predictive maintenance and condition monitoring services.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documentation using CAD tools for plant upgrades and maintenance works.
• Support asset integrity, equipment performance, and lifecycle planning for conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and other mechanical plant.
• Oversee installation, modification, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems used in timber processing and material handling.
