Job summary

• Structural analysis
• Concept development and sketching
• Detailed design and documentation
• Calculations
• Compilation of calculation booklets and output matrices
• Compilation of technical specifications
• Letter and report writing
• Management of budget and timelines
• Assist with technical development of junior engineers
• Work collaboratively with the team
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of business processes and strategy
• Communicate effectively internally and externally
• Management of junior team members
• Provide technical advice to management and team
• Advise on use of equipment and materials
• Make responsible decisions not usually subject to technical review
• Decide courses of action to expedite project success
