Job summary

Territory Generation (TGen) seeks a senior leader to drive revenue and commercial market operations across energy markets, market reform, major contracts, regulation and customer relationships in the Northern Territory.

You will guide commercial analysis, negotiation and management of wholesale, retail, fuel supply and PPA agreements, while overseeing regulatory obligations and establishing new arrangements for NT systems. Collaboration with the Executive team and stakeholders will be essential.

Qualifications

• Senior experience across energy markets, commercial strategy, regulation, wholesale and retail.
• Knowledge of electricity market structures and commercial contracting.
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and translating market/regulatory developments into outcomes.
• Public or private sector energy experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial analysis, negotiation and management of wholesale, retail, fuel supply and PPA contracts.
• Oversee commercial regulatory obligations and new arrangements for regulated systems.
• Develop and explore new commercial models and opportunities across the Territory.
• Provide strategic advice on market developments, opportunities and risk with senior stakeholders.
