Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Senior Manager, Closely Held Assets to lead a diverse portfolio of private investments, including partnerships, LLCs and closely held corporations. You will assess risk, determine valuations for fiduciary and fee-related purposes, and coordinate with risk, legal, and advisory teams across a national footprint.

The role requires deep fiduciary governance knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor junior staff while communicating complex investment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in commercial credit, business analysis or equivalent.
• Experience evaluating private investments, partnerships, LLCs, and closely held assets.
• Strong fiduciary, regulatory, and governance knowledge.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of private business investments including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations.
• Perform investment reviews, develop recommendations, and determine valuations for fiduciary and fee-related purposes.
• Analyze financial statements and industry structures to assess risk and value.
• Evaluate proxy votes, tender offers, reorganizations, and asset sale decisions.
• Communicate investment performance and strategy with clients and advisors.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, and compliance to ensure fiduciary compliance.
• Serve as subject matter expert and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with internal partners on complex investment matters to mitigate risk.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team and company.
