The Senior Manager, Justice Strategy and Funding, based in Adelaide, leads a high-performing team responsible for strategic coordination, funding and contract management of South Australia’s legal assistance sector. Reporting to the Director, Justice Policy and Analytics, the role provides expert advice to the Attorney-General and oversees major grant programs.

This role shapes national policy participation, builds cross-government partnerships and drives reforms.

• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and influencing capabilities.
• The ability to provide clear, evidence-based advice to senior decision-makers.
• Strong project, contract and grant management experience.
• Sound judgement, political awareness and the ability to navigate complex intergovernmental and cross-sector issues.
• A commitment to collaboration, inclusion and improving access to justice outcomes for South Australians.

Responsabilités

• Leading the delivery of South Australia’s legal assistance program under the National Access to Justice Partnership (NAJP).
• Managing funding agreements, procurement processes and grant programs to support a sustainable and effective legal assistance sector.
• Providing strategic policy advice to the Attorney-General and senior executives on legal assistance, funding and justice policy issues.
• Driving South Australia’s contribution to national legal assistance priorities and initiatives, including workforce, data and access-to-justice reforms.
• Building strong partnerships across government, the legal assistance sector and community stakeholders.
• Leading, mentoring and developing a team while fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
