Job summary

ABB in Australia seeks a Senior Manager – Fixed Products to own and drive the fixed product proposition, guiding prioritisation and cross-functional alignment. You will translate market and customer insights into strategic direction and lead a team to deliver a cohesive fixed product roadmap aligned with ABB’s strategy.

You will apply deep expertise in wholesale telecommunications constructs to inform product design, pricing, and vendor evolution, ensuring strong customer and commercial outcomes

As Senior Manager – Fixed Products at ABB, you support ABB’s purpose of changing the game by defining and championing the strategy across our fixed portfolio.

You own the fixed product proposition and bring deep expertise across both vendor and capability layers. You anticipate customer needs, market shifts, and emerging technologies before they become issues, translating these insights into clear, actionable strategic direction that the broader business can align to.

You lead the team responsible for shaping and delivering the fixed roadmap in line with the 3-Year Product Strategy. Rather than relying on authority, you influence through clarity, commercial reasoning, and strong strategic conviction bringing stakeholders together to deliver a cohesive and future-focused fixed product vision at ABB.

• Act as the strategic authority for Fixed Products across ABB, guiding prioritisation, trade-offs, and cross-functional alignment to maximise impact.
• Define and champion the fixed product strategy aligned to the 3-Year Product Strategy, translating customer insight, wholesale structures, regulatory dynamics, and vendor evolution into clear direction.
• Apply deep expertise in wholesale telecommunications constructs (access frameworks, pricing, cost drivers, and constraints) to inform product design, commercial modelling, and strategy.
• Own the end-to-end fixed product proposition, ensuring alignment across hardware, vendors, and wholesale structures to deliver strong customer and commercial outcomes.
• Anticipate market shifts and customer needs, identifying structural opportunities for differentiation within wholesale frameworks.
• Lead Product Managers to deliver strategically grounded roadmaps, protecting the portfolio from reactive or short-term pressures.
• Partner with vendors and wholesale providers to translate commercial constructs and roadmap changes into actionable product outcomes.
• Simplify complex commercial, regulatory, and wholesale dynamics into clear narratives that enable customer solutions and commercial success.
• Solve complex product problems with structured reasoning, clearly defining actions, rationale, and strategic impact for ABB’s fixed position.
