Australian Red Cross in Darwin seeks a Senior (State) Manager - Programs to lead a portfolio of state-wide initiatives, including migrant participation and emergency resilience. You will guide a dispersed workforce of staff and volunteers, and broker collaborations across community and government partners.

You will drive compliance, identify gaps, and promote Red Cross services on regional platforms, while managing budgets to meet revenue targets and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Substantial experience managing scalable community-based programs across geographic boundaries.
Strong cultural competence and ability to work with diverse teams.
Understanding of community resilience, preparedness and recovery program models.
Experience in leading change and securing stakeholder cooperation.

Responsibilities

Ensure programs meet contractual, legislative and quality standards.
Identify trends and opportunities at local to state level aligned to strategies.
Represent Red Cross on local, regional and state committees and networks.
Develop program budgets and monitor financial performance against targets.
