Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead the Credit Risk Policy function for Commercial Lending in Australia. You will evolve risk policies, manage a team, and own risk appetite frameworks that underpin our risk management framework.

You will translate data insights into policy improvements, drive governance, and partner with stakeholders across business banking, product, technology and central risk management to deliver robust risk outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a risk-based role, ideally within financial services.
• Experience in commercial lending credit underwriting and the credit risk lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk policies, risk appetite frameworks and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to evolve commercial lending credit risk policies with emphasis on risk/reward and policy governance.
• Identify trends from internal/external data to optimise credit policies and support strategic initiatives.
• Develop management reporting and automate data quality, documentation and user guides.
