Job summary

APAC Michael Page is seeking a Senior Management Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity in Australia. You will prepare timely management accounts, produce forecasts, and provide clear commentary to senior leadership to influence decisions.

You will partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and support budgeting cycles. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to executive leadership, and opportunities to contribute to financial modelling, process

Description

• Prepare timely management accounts and financial reports to give stakeholders a clear view of financial performance.
• Analyse financial results, investigate variances and present practical commentary to support informed decisions.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts that support financial planning across the organisation.
• Prepare financial models and analysis to inform planning activities and business initiatives.
• Work with internal stakeholders to gather financial information and clarify reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation for management reporting.
• Review financial data for completeness and accuracy, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to improvements in reporting processes and financial analysis methods.

Profile

You will be a CA/CPA-qualified finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance. You will also bring:

• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
