Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established industrial organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Melbourne. You will partner with operational stakeholders to deliver accurate month-end reporting and insightful financial analysis within a large, structured business.

The role requires strong experience in month-end, budgeting and forecasting, with advanced Excel and ERP exposure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Previous experience in a similar role within industrial environment
• Strong month-end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Advanced Excel capabilities and confidence working with large data sets
• Experience operating within a medium-to-large organisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Accounting qualifications (CA/CPA or equivalent advantageous)
• Exposure to ERP systems, ideally within a complex operating environment
