Job summary

Lake Imaging in Geelong operates a Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic and BreastScreen services, seeking an experienced Mammographer to perform at a high standard in a multidisciplinary team. The role includes screening, diagnostic, and interventional imaging with opportunities for supervision and training.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging, current AHPRA registration, and a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development in a regional setting.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Extensive experience in diagnostic breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level Mammography independently in accordance with prescribed professional and clinical standards within the multidisciplinary team setting.
• Participate in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography.
• Regularly participate in interventional diagnostic breast imaging and assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced level procedures.
• Provide role in competency training, skill development and clinical supervision to less experienced Mammographers.
