Job summary

Lake Imaging, part of the Integral Diagnostics Group in Geelong, seeks an experienced Mammographer for a Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic. You will perform advanced mammography, participate in BreastScreen services, and support training within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasises competency in diagnostic breast imaging, screening, and interventional procedures, with focus on ongoing professional development and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
• Current licensing and registrations; registration with AHPRA and professional indemnity insurance.
• Extensive experience and competency in diagnostic breast imaging, screening mammography and assessment procedures.
• Willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude toward work.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level Mammography independently within prescribed professional standards.
• Participate in screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Interventional breast imaging and assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service.
• Provide mentoring and clinical supervision to less experienced Mammographers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to work in our outstanding Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic and the Geelong BreastScreen Service.

• Perform high level Mammography independently in accordance with prescribed professional and clinical standards within the multidisciplinary team setting.
• Participate in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography
• Regularly participate in interventional diagnostic breast imaging as well as assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced level procedures.
• Provide a role in competency training, skill development and clinical supervision to less experienced Mammographers
