Job summary

Lake Imaging, part of the Integral Diagnostics Group, invites an experienced Mammographer to join the new Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic in Geelong. The role covers high-level mammography, screening and diagnostic work within a multidisciplinary team, including interventional imaging and involvement in BreastScreen services.

Applicants should have extensive breast imaging experience, a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent), and current AHPRA registration with indemnity; willingness to ongoing

Job description

Lake Imaging, as part of the Integral Diagnostics Group, provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to private hospitals, public hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres. With more than 19 sites of operation in Victoria, we aim to give referrers and patients access to an unparalleled range of expertise, experience, facilities and resources.

Lake Imaging's new purpose built Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic will provide a premium breast imaging service to the patients of Geelong, using the best technology, Contrast Enhanced Mammography is the latest state-of-the-art imaging technique.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to work in our outstanding Private Diagnostic Breast Clinic and the Geelong BreastScreen Service.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform high level Mammography independently in accordance with prescribed professional and clinical standards within the multidisciplinary team setting.
• Participate in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography
• Regularly participate in interventional diagnostic breast imaging as well as assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced level procedures.
• Provide a role in competency training, skill development and clinical supervision to less experienced Mammographers
