Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a skilled transactional lawyer to craft prompts and test how AI models handle merger agreements. You will review model output for covenants, closing conditions, and risk allocation, and you will draft the correct provision when the model falls short.

Flexible, remote work in Australia with competitive hourly pay up to 125 AUD plus performance-based rewards. Experience in M&A, capital markets, or corporate work is preferred, and strong English writing is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on transactional experience in M&A, capital markets, venture financings, or general corporate work.
• Ability to assess deal terms and identify mispriced risk.
• Excellent written English.
• No degree required.

Responsibilities

• Draft prompts that test how models handle merger agreements, financings, corporate governance, and deal structuring.
• Review AI output for mismatched covenants, unworkable closing conditions, mispriced risk allocation, and boilerplate that does not fit the deal, and rate the reasoning.
• Write the correct provision when the model falls short, with the discipline of a well-negotiated agreement.
