Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Logistics Operator to execute complex logistics and transportation operations, including shipment coordination, carrier management, and freight documentation. You will apply knowledge of transportation systems and SLAs to resolve moderately complex issues and support process improvements across supply chain functions.

The role involves guiding junior team members, maintaining records, and contributing to performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in logistics operations or related field.
• Experience with carrier management and shipment tracking.
• Certification in CSCP, CLTD, or related logistics certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates complex shipment scheduling, carrier bookings, and freight documentation across lanes, ensuring accuracy and standards.
• Resolves moderately complex carrier service issues and delivery exceptions, escalating as needed.
• Monitors shipment status, transit performance, and delivery commitments, flagging delays to leadership for resolution.
• Maintains audit-ready logistics records including bills of lading, POD, carrier correspondence, and freight cost documentation.
• Compiles performance data and carrier scorecards to support reporting and continuous improvement.
• Guides junior operators through coaching and knowledge sharing to build logistics execution capability.
