Job summary

DSV Solutions is seeking a Senior Logistics Engineer to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. This role leads operational engineering and automation projects, collaborating with A&I teams to ensure WMS designs meet process requirements.

You will play a pivotal part in onboarding new business, warehouse automation, and continuous improvement across regional deployments. You will bring 8+ years in logistics, warehousing, or 3PL with a focus on solution design or automation, plus a strong grasp of

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, or Automation & Mechatronics Engineering.
8+ years in logistics/warehousing/3PL, with 3+ years in solution design or automation.
Strong knowledge of WMS and operational IT setups.
Excellent written communication and structured project delivery.

Responsibilities

Translate RFQ handovers into detailed operational requirements and layouts.
Lead automation implementations, manage change assessments and vendor deliverables.
Collaborate with A&I teams to align WMS designs with processes.
Evaluate variances between proposals and final models; adjust resources and costs.
Lead workshops, manage timelines, mitigate risks on mid-sized projects.
Ensure designs comply with OHS, quality, and sustainability policies.
