Job summary

Whizdom in Canberra seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to lead the design, deployment and ongoing support of secure Linux infrastructure and data platforms. You will ensure systems remain secure, resilient and operational, providing technical leadership across administration, networking and infra operations.

This role requires an active NV2 security clearance and offers a salary package circa $190,000 + Super, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• Extensive Linux systems administration experience in secure/enterprise environments.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and related tooling.
• Strong AD, IAM and network services administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and maintain secure Linux server environments.
• Lead system hardening, patching, and compliance against security standards.
• Provide technical guidance across Linux, networking and infrastructure operations.
• Support and scale production Kubernetes environments and monitoring stacks.
