Job summary

Tamworth Automotive Services, a family-owned workshop in Taminda, is seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic to perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of light vehicles. You will work in a well-equipped shop, prioritizing safety, quality, and timely delivery for customers in the local community.

The ideal candidate has a Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, at least 5 years of trade experience, a valid licence and own tools, and a strong teamwork ethic.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification: Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of trade experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and your own hand tools.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Current NSW Safety Inspection (eSafety / Pink Slip) examiner tickets are highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and mechanical diagnostics on a wide range of light vehicles.
