Job summary

Wolf & Williams is seeking a senior legal counsel in Melbourne to support growth across customer, technology and IP matters. You will advise business leaders, negotiate complex contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.

You will collaborate with sales, product, technology and operations to shape governance, licensing and privacy strategies as the company expands nationally.

Qualifications

• 8+ PQE with top-tier firm or in-house tech experience.
• Strong focus on technology contracts, privacy, IP and regulatory matters.
• Proven ability to structure and negotiate complex customer and technology agreements.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-growing environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead structuring, negotiation and ongoing management of key customer contracts and strategic commercial deals.
• Provide specialist advice on technology, software, SaaS and IT contracting.
• Advise on IP protection, licensing and commercialization.
• Support regulatory compliance across privacy, data protection and export control.
• Advise on consumer law and fair trading issues.
• Deliver practical legal support on product, platform and tech matters.
• Drive proactive legal risk management and ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain scalable legal templates, policies and frameworks.
