UNSW Rural invites applications for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Education Focused, Discipline Lead General Practice, Rural, based in Port Macquarie. The role focuses on high-quality teaching and coordinating rural medical education, with strong links to local health partners.

Part-time 10.5 hours/week, fixed term to 30 June 2028, pro rata remuneration AU$133,065–$161,619 plus 17% superannuation and clinical loading. WWCC required; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Evidence of ongoing professional development in pedagogy and accreditation.
• Lead local curriculum delivery and coordinate assessments with educators.
• Experience with teaching and supervising undergraduate students in rural medicine.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Education Focused roles for rural medicine.
• Coordinate clinical placements with local hospitals and GP networks.
• Collaborate with directors to enhance the rural medical education program.
