Job summary

UNSW Rural (Port Macquarie campus) invites applications for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) – Year 3-4 Convenor, Rural. This part-time, fixed-term role is 7 hours per week, onsite in Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, with remuneration at Academic Level B or C ($133,065 - $161,619 pro rata) plus 17% superannuation and clinical loading.

Qualifications

• BMedMD or MBBS degree with Specialist Fellowship and NSW medical registration.
• Evidence and maintenance of pedagogy and clinical teaching.
• Experience coordinating clinical education and assessments; proficiency with educational technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical education and coordinate a designated phase of the undergraduate medicine program.
• Support student learning, clinical placements, assessments and curriculum delivery.
• Foster partnerships with Local Health Districts and rural health networks.
• Lead rurally focused learning activities and support related student projects.
• Provide leadership in teaching excellence and curriculum development.
