Job summary

CQUniversity is seeking a Senior Lecturer – First Nations Curriculum to lead scholarly development of First Nations perspectives and inclusive teaching across the University. Working within the Indigenous Engagement Division, you will collaborate with staff to drive curriculum development and align it with CQUniversity's First Nations Curriculum Framework.

  • Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline.
  • Understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education.
  • In-depth understanding of the Australian higher education context, including constructive alignment of unit-level learning outcomes and assessment, and their alignment to course learning outcomes, graduate attributes and external accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Embed First Nations perspectives and inclusive teaching across CQUniversity.
  • Lead curriculum development and coordinate across the Indigenous Engagement Division.

CQUniversity is seeking an experienced and passionate academic to help shape the future of First Nations teaching, learning and research.

As Senior Lecturer – First Nations Curriculum, you will provide scholarly leadership and specialist expertise to strengthen the embedding of First Nations perspectives, knowledges and inclusive teaching practices across the University.

Working within the Indigenous Engagement Division and reporting to the Director – Indigenous Development and Education, you will collaborate with academic and teaching staff across CQUniversity to drive meaningful curriculum development and support the implementation of the University’s First Nations Curriculum Framework.

Position Requirements
