Job summary

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of relevant curriculum and ability to model exemplary teaching.
• Ability to use data to monitor student progress and inform practice.
• Capacity to support teachers in evaluating impact of learning programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage students, families and staff.
• Leadership in school-wide professional learning and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-level teaching practice and deliver demonstration lessons.
• Work with leadership to define effective teaching practices across the school.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies in curriculum delivery.
• Provide professional learning, observation protocols and feedback processes.
• Offer evidence-based feedback to teachers to inform practice and growth.
• Advise on context, processes and strategies for school professional learning.
• Mentor student teachers and coach teachers in skill development.
• Develop school-wide professional learning structures and PLCs.
• Promote reflective practice and peer collaboration for continuous improvement.
