• SC2 demonstrates high impact teaching strategies and ability to evaluate learning impact.
• SC3 demonstrates monitoring/assessment of student learning and data-informed feedback.
• SC4 demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students and parents.
• SC5 demonstrates ability to reflect on practice and lead school-based professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating high-level expertise in teaching and learning practice.
• Modelling exemplary classroom practice including through teaching demonstration lessons.
• Work with leadership to define highly effective teaching practices.
• Lead and model whole-school improvement strategies in curriculum planning and delivery.
• Develop processes for observation, feedback and peer collaboration in professional learning.
• Provide evidence-based feedback to teachers to inform professional growth.
• Offer expert advice on context and strategies for school professional learning.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers and coaches.
• Model use of student data to tailor teaching approaches.
• Promote school-wide professional learning structures and protocols.
