Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Senior Lean Operations Partner to shape the future of our national Lean program. You’ll collaborate with operational leaders across facilities and value streams, turning strategy into action by building capability and embedding continuous improvement that improves Safety, Service and Efficiency.

This role involves coaching Lean Champions, running problem-solving workshops, using data to identify opportunities, and driving sustainable change across our network.

Qualifications

• Lean certification (Green Belt or above) or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives in operational environments.
• Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience applying Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques to deliver measurable outcomes.
• The ability to analyse performance data and translate findings into practical improvement opportunities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel across operational sites.
• Experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, manufacturing, FMCG, warehousing, retail or other complex operational environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the national Lean program across an assigned group of facilities and value streams
• Coach leaders and Lean Champions to build continuous improvement capability
• Facilitate problem-solving workshops and Lean improvement activities
• Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities to improve Safety, Service and Efficiency
• Support the implementation and standardisation of successful improvement initiatives across the network
• Monitor progress, track benefits and identify delivery risks
• Influence and engage stakeholders to embed sustainable change and continuous improvement practices
