Job summary

Christies Beach High School in South Australia is redesigning its Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and trauma-informed practices, integrating Berry Street Education Model to create a relational, evidence-informed approach to behaviour, engagement and learning.

As Leader Band B-3 you will provide strategic leadership, professional learning, coaching, and implementation monitoring to embed these practices across the school, including Ready-to-Learn, co-regulation, repair, and re-entry.

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) and trauma-informed practice.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework and school-wide behaviour systems.
• Ability to translate specialist knowledge into sustainable whole-school practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school-wide implementation of PBL and trauma-informed practices.
• Provide strategic leadership, professional learning and coaching for staff.
• Monitor implementation and drive continuous improvement across the school.
