Job summary

Naiman Clarke is partnering with a Canberra/Sydney boutique to recruit a senior Wills & Estates lawyer. This role leads a Succession Planning and Deceased Estates practice, handling estate planning, administration and contested matters for high net worth individuals and business clients.

You will advise clients directly, draft complex documents, and collaborate closely with a partner to build long‑term relationships while growing your own practice in a supportive, career‑progressive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years PQE in Wills and Estates.
• Based in Sydney or Canberra.
• Confident in client facing, providing clear, practical advice.
• Strong drafting and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, proactive and business minded.

About the role:

• Working closely with a Doyle’s Guide recommended Partner and take a lead role in a Succession Planning and Deceased Estates practice, covering estate planning, administration, and contested estate work, including family provision and estate disputes.
• Advise high net worth individuals and business clients.

The ideal candidate:

• At least 5 years PQE in Wills and Estates Law who is based in Sydney or Canberra
• Confident client facing skills and the ability to provide clear, practical advice
• Solid drafting skills and strong attention to detail
• A collaborative approach, proactive, commercial mindset and genuine interest in building client relationships.
