Qualifications

• Predominantly experienced in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of NSW and Federal court procedures.
• Experience across insolvency, insurance, construction, or commercial disputes is valued.

Responsibilities

• Managing and running a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
• Advising on commercial disputes, insolvency, insurance and building & construction matters.
• Preparing pleadings, evidence, submissions and other court documents.
• Appearing in court and working closely with counsel, experts and clients.
• Managing matters from initial instructions through to resolution.
• Exposure to disputes before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).

About the role:

• Managing and running a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Acting in proceedings across the NSW Courts and Federal Courts
• Advising on commercial disputes, insolvency, insurance and building & construction matters
• Preparing pleadings, evidence, submissions and other court documents
• Managing matters from initial instructions through to resolution
• Appearing in court and working closely with counsel, experts and clients
• Potential exposure to disputes before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)

The ideal candidate:

• Associate to Senior Associate level, approximately 3-10 years’ QPE, with Special Counsel level candidates also considered
• Predominantly experienced in litigation and dispute resolution
• Strong knowledge of the practice and procedure of the NSW and Federal Courts
• Hands-on experience managing and running litigation matters
• Experience across insolvency, insurance, building & construction, general or commercial litigation will be highly regarded
• NCAT experience will also be viewed favourably
