Job summary

Urbis in Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to lead mid to large-scale projects within our national Design team. You will drive technical excellence, manage multi-disciplinary delivery, and shape design outcomes from concept to construction documentation.

You will mentor teams, support business development, and build strong client relationships across sectors. The role requires 10+ years’ experience, strong CAD/BIM skills, and a passion for placemaking and resilient

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture.
Experience in a Design practice and/or consultancy environment.
10+ years relevant experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit/BIM and graphic (Adobe Creative Suite), 3d modelling and visualisation tools (Sketchup / Rhino 3d / Lumion).
Strong Word and Excel skills to develop contract specifications and costing estimates.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the delivery of all project sizes including medium to large projects (including complex multi-disciplinary projects with Director support).
Proficiency and understanding in landscape architecture details, construction processes, contract documents and client expectations from concept to construction administration.
Champion design excellence across project stages; contribute to design reviews and strategic discussions.
Provide design leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering creativity and technical rigour.
Developing and nurturing staff capability and efficiency through coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.
Build client relationships to generate repeat work and strong networks across sectors.
Support or lead meetings (Resourcing meetings), delivering strategic design strategies and business plans.
Achieve commercial KPIs including revenue targets, utilisation and budgets.
Demonstrate understanding of services across Business Units and cross-sell opportunities.
Identify opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across national offices.
