Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) to join the JATTS program near Nowra, NSW. You will perform CASA CAR30 maintenance tasks, ensure compliant documentation, and support aircraft operations domestically and internationally.

The role requires LAME B1, willingness to complete Learjet type courses if not rated, and possible Part-66 B1 licence with Learjet rating. A safety-first mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced LAME B1 with CASA CAR30 experience.
• Availability to complete Learjet 35/36 type course if not rated.
• Desirable Part-66 B1 licence with Learjet 35/36 rating.

Responsibilities

• Hold safety as a core value and contribute to a zero-harm environment.
• Perform duties of LAME as part of a CASA CAR30 Maintenance Organisation.
• Ensure maintenance, documentation and certification align with procedures.
• Perform shift/task handovers and supervise maintenance staff.
• Oversee hangar/workshop condition and upkeep.
• Act as point of contact for work-related calls.
• Deploy with aircraft to provide maintenance and logistics support nationally and internationally.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Maintenance Engineer.
