Job summary

You will manage a team of eight Java developers based in the Philippines, working with them during Australian business hours to deliver integrations beyond standard configuration.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial software development experience with Java as core technology.
• Experience steering the technical direction of a software development team.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to review code and stay technically credible with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Act as the principal technical representative throughout customer implementations.
• Lead solution architecture and technical design of complex customer solutions.
• Define how the platform will integrate with customer environments and third-party systems.
• Translate customer requirements into technical designs and practical engineering approaches.
• Produce and maintain solution architecture documentation.
• Provide technical direction to the eight-developer team and ensure quality across delivery.
