Job summary

Talenza is partnering with an Australian ASX-listed company to source a senior Cloud Engineer for an infrastructure and security uplift project. The role is a hands-on position in a large enterprise, with a 6-month fixed term contract and a hybrid in-office requirement (1–2 days per week).

Talenza have been engaged by an Australian ASX listed company to find a senior Cloud Engineer to work across an infrastructure & security uplift project. The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on Cloud Engineer in a large enterprise environment.

• 6 month fixed term contract (possible extensions)

Key Requirements

Extensive experience with Azure and virtualised cloud architectures, including hybrid cloud environments and VMware.

Demonstrated experience deploying infrastructure as code (IaC) using Bicep and Terraform.

Strong experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, including enterprise administration and infrastructure support.

Experience with configuration management, orchestration and automation, using tools such as Ansible, DSC, PowerShell and Python.

Experience with containers and container management, including Docker, Kubernetes and AKS, as well as CI/CD and release tooling such as Azure DevOps.

Experience integrating with enterprise services and APIs, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID, with an understanding of SSO and MFA.

Experience applying security and compliance standards to cloud infrastructure, with strong change management skills and the ability to work effectively within Agile and ITIL environments.
