Job summary

Podium IT is seeking a senior IT support professional in Melbourne to manage complex troubleshooting across infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, networks and security for small business and healthcare clients.

The role requires owning outcomes, contributing to projects and guiding less experienced team members while maintaining reliable support and effective change management in client environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in managed services or broad business IT support.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server, identity and endpoint administration.
• Solid networking knowledge across firewalls, switching, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP.
• Experience with backup, recovery, monitoring and security controls.
• Confident project delivery and change planning.
• Clear, respectful communication with clients, vendors and technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own escalated incidents and complex technical investigations through to resolution.
• Support and improve Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, virtualisation, backup and network environments.
• Plan and implement infrastructure, migration, security and onboarding projects.
• Review technical risk and turn findings into clear client recommendations.
• Maintain accurate standards, documentation and handover information.
• Mentor technicians and contribute to service quality and operational improvement.
