Job summary

IBM Australia Limited in Perth, WA is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead large IT delivery programs for energy sector clients. You will own scope, schedule, cost, and governance across onshore and offshore teams and multiple vendors to ensure projects land on time, within budget, and ready for support.

Qualifications

• 8+ years managing IT delivery projects of $1m to $5m, with teams of 15 to 30 people.
• Proven delivery of Microsoft platform projects - Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or Azure.
• Fixed price and outcome-based delivery experience, including change control, commercial reporting and scope management.
• Hybrid waterfall and agile delivery, including squad coordination and stage-gate governance.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore teams.
• Clear written reporting for executive and steering committee audiences.
• Experience with Agile Delivery Framework and project management methodologies.
• Experience with QA and risk management within large programs.

Responsibilities

• Mobilisation and Baselining: validate WBS, confirm deliverables, reviewers, approvers and dates.
• Commercial Delivery: deliver against SOWs, fixed price, track margin and estimates to complete.
• Governance: status reporting, steering committees, RAID log, stage-gate governance.
• Delivery Planning: coordinate across waterfall and hybrid agile models with multiple squads.
• Dependency Management: manage third-party dependencies across vendors and client teams.
• Resourcing: coordinate onshore and offshore resources across teams.
• Go-live and Transition: lead SIT, UAT, migrations, cut-over and warranty.
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
