Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fixed-price and outcome-based customer platform projects for a major energy network. You’ll own scope, schedule, cost and governance across blended onshore and offshore teams and multiple third parties, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and a smooth transition to managed support.

Experience leading Microsoft technology solutions, hybrid delivery models, and strong executive reporting is essential.

Qualifications

8+ years delivering IT projects with teams of 15–30 people.
Proven delivery of Microsoft platform projects (Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or Azure).
Fixed price and outcome-based delivery experience with change control.
Hybrid waterfall and agile delivery leadership.
Experience leading onshore and offshore teams.
Clear written reporting for executive and steering committee audiences.

Responsibilities

Mobilisation and Baselining: validate WBS, confirm deliverables and dates.
Commercial Delivery: deliver against SOWs, manage change control and margins.
Governance: run status reporting, steering committees, RAID log and stage gates.
Delivery Planning: coordinate across waterfall and hybrid agile models.
Dependency Management: manage third-party partners and client teams.
Resourcing: coordinate onshore and offshore resources across teams.
Go-live and Transition: lead SIT, UAT, migration, go-live and warranty.
Manage Project Scope and Deliverables: ensure alignment with Agile Delivery Framework.
Establish Effective Communication: provide daily direction and status updates.
Ensure Quality Compliance: uphold CMMI-related quality controls.
