Job summary

Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) is seeking an APS6 SADA Senior Auditor to lead components of IT, cyber, AI, automation and data integrity work, supervising staff and contributing to more complex assessments.

You will gain diverse experience across agencies with SADA, including technical training, L&D courses and networking opportunities to support your effectiveness in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability, preferably with experience assessing IT or cyber risks.
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and administration skills.
• Capacity to lead, mentor and support audit teams.
• Ability to innovate and adopt emerging audit technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead small teams performing IT, cyber and data assurance procedures.
• Review workpapers and provide coaching to junior staff.
• Assess risks across AI-enabled systems, platforms and enterprise applications.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and contribute to management reporting.
