Job summary

Commonwealth Bank’s Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team seeks a Senior Analyst to help deliver investment reporting and governance. You will oversee the Group’s investment portfolio, support funding allocation and provide reporting for executive decision making.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualifications.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and commercial skills.
• Curious, questioning mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across Finance and Business teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proactive, self-starting approach with a track record of independent delivery.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Group-wide investment spend reporting and manage end-to-end Interlock governance.
• Partner with Finance and Group Strategy to allocate the Group’s ~$2.4bn investment envelope each year.
• Prepare investment reporting and analysis for half-year and full-year Profit Announcements.
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Unit stakeholders to influence investment decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvements across reporting processes.
• Manage multiple deliverables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Support a strong, collaborative team culture and uphold CommBank’s Code of Conduct.
