Job summary

UNSW in Sydney is seeking a Senior Case Manager – Complex Investigations to lead high-profile misconduct inquiries, including public interest disclosures, within a collaborative team.

Reporting to the Head of Disclosures & Complex Investigations, you will manage cases end‑to‑end, gather and interpret evidence, interview stakeholders, and draft formal outcomes in line with applicable acts and policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and substantial experience in complex misconduct case management.
• Experience in tertiary sector, public service or large corporate organisations encouraged.
• Certificate IV in Government Investigations or willingness to obtain within 12 months of commencement.
• Advanced case management in high-volume, process-driven environments with multiple deadlines.
• Superior emotional intelligence and advisory, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply understanding of Codes of Conduct, policies and procedures relating to misconduct.
• Case manage complaints and allegations, collect evidence, interview, draft correspondence, advise stakeholders, and prepare reports.
• Interpret and apply complex policies for managing investigations and ensure obligations are met.
• Identify issues requiring remediation or review and develop recommendations.
