Our Federal Government client in Melbourne is seeking an APS5 Investigations Officer and an APS6 Senior Investigations Officer for a 1-year non-ongoing fixed-term contract, with full-time hours and hybrid work options.

Citizenship and Federal Police Check are required; a Certificate IV in Government Investigations is preferred. Roles involve gathering information, reviewing documents, and supporting compliance investigations.

Qualificações

• Experience in investigations within a government environment.
• Ability to interpret complex information and data.
• Willingness to obtain/hold a Federal Government Baseline Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Help gather, review, and record information to support investigations into possible breaches.
• Examine documents and financial records, identify concerns or missing information, and provide advice to inform decisions.
• Use data and intelligence tools to identify people, organisations, or activities that may pose a compliance risk.
• Review information and trends to detect signs of non-compliance and help develop targeted compliance activities.
• Assist with preparing briefs, reports, and correspondence for decisionmakers.
• Ensure information is accurate, clear, and consistent, supporting high-quality investigations and compliance work.
