Effective People is recruiting APS5 and APS6 Investigations Officers to strengthen a national regulatory investigations function. The role involves gathering and analysing documentary, financial and intelligence information, with hybrid work arrangements in Canberra or Melbourne.

APS6 offers greater autonomy, leading more complex investigations and guiding junior staff. Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a Baseline clearance or above, with non-ongoing, contract-based arrangements

Qualificações

• Experience in investigations or regulatory compliance.
• Able to analyze complex information and identify risks.
• Ability to explain investigations and produce clear briefs.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Must hold a Baseline clearance or above.

Responsabilidades

• Gather and analyse financial, documentary and intelligence information.
• Identify gaps, risks and indicators of potential non-compliance.
• Use data and intelligence tools to identify higher-risk behaviours or entities.
• Support targeted regulatory and compliance action.
• Prepare briefs, reports and correspondence for decision-makers.
• At APS6, lead complex investigations and mentor junior staff.
