Job summary

Motion Derwent Park is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Sales Representative to manage customer relationships, provide product and customer support, and contribute to branch sales performance. You will be the trusted contact for customers and collaborate with the branch team to deliver responsive service and identify growth opportunities.

Key duties include handling orders, advising on products and stock, and supporting sales targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated internal sales, customer service or branch-based sales experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills and confidence learning new systems.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
• A proactive, reliable and team-oriented approach.
• Valid driver's license – essential.
• A mechanical aptitude or knowledge of bearings and power transmission products is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone, email and front counter.
• Provide advice on products, pricing, stock availability, deliveries and account enquiries.
• Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships, identifying opportunities to grow sales and improve service outcomes.
• Assist with customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Support branch sales targets through proactive follow-up, quoting and customer engagement.
• Assist with pick packing and occasional customer deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with the branch team to maintain a safe, efficient and customer-focused operation.
