Job summary

Pacific National is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join the team at the North Sydney head office or other Australian locations. You will report to the Head of Internal Audit and lead end-to-end audits across multiple business groups, helping the business improve risk management, control and governance.

You’ll manage consulting engagements, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and provide expert audit guidance to drive best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of internal or external audit experience.
• Curious mindset with ability to lead audit projects.
• Strong understanding of auditing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end internal audits per the approved plan.
• Coordinate and undertake consulting/advisory engagements as requested.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to foster assurance culture.
• Provide expert audit advice to improve processes and risk management.
• Communicate findings and verify timely resolution of corrective actions.
