Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead risk-based audits, develop audit strategies, and provide actionable assurance across the organisation. You will leverage internal audit, risk management, and data analytics to strengthen controls and influence decision-making, building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIA, CISA or CISSP highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, scoping, testing, reporting, and agreement of management actions.
• Develop and deliver the Internal Audit Plan by identifying risks and providing independent assurance.
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of operational, financial, and IT controls with practical recommendations.
