PharmaCrop in Queensland, Australia seeks an experienced Internal Auditor to lead investigations, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance within a plant-based medicines facility. The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years in internal audit, and proficiency in ERP and audit software.

A National Police Check and Fit & Proper Person criteria are mandatory. The successful candidate will report to management, review financial statements, and propose improvements to governance

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related Business field.
• Membership with a professional body such as IIA, CPA Australia, or CA ANZ is highly regarded.
• At least five years of internal auditing experience; pharma/high-security manufacturing is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and financial legislation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; experience with ERP and audit software.

Responsabilidades

• Arrange, coordinate and conduct investigations and audits of pharmaceutical funds and production yield.
• Assess effectiveness of internal controls across cultivation and extraction facility.
• Inspect accounting systems and procedures for efficiency in a high-compliance environment.
• Review accuracy and reliability of financial reports and records across departments.
• Report findings to management and advise on operational deficiencies.
• Conduct audits of pharmaceutical-grade records and specialized accounting systems.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management and regulatory review.
• Recommend improvements to governance and financial procedures.
• Advise on financial aspects of inventory, supply chain, and capital investment.
