Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking a dedicated auditor to deliver audits and reviews, providing assurance to the Audit and Risk Committee. This permanent full-time role demands end-to-end engagement from planning through reporting in a complex, multi-contract environment.

You'll apply your business and accounting background to evidence-based risk insights, strengthen controls, and support informed governance decisions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or equivalent.
• Ethical, collaborative auditor with strong evidence analysis and risk assessment.
• Experience creating internal audit scopes and programs in large, complex organisations.

• Deliver audits and reviews that provide assurance to the Sydney Metro Audit and Risk Committee.
• Undertake end-to-end audit engagement , from planning and execution through to reporting, and oversee corrective actions in a complex, multi-contract stakeholder environment.
• Provide evidence-based risk and control insights to support strong governance and informed decision-making.

About You

• You have tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or equivalent, supported by demonstrated professional experience.
• You're recognised as an ethical and collaborative auditor, skilled at analysing evidence, assessing risk and recommending practical solutions.
• You bring experience developing and implementing internal audit scopes and programs within large, complex organisations to strengthen controls and compliance.

Location

This role must be based from the advertised location with hybrid working arrangements.
